I AM ALREADY WELL Begins 2/15 at Lounge Theatre

Have you ever wondered what your therapist is really thinking? Wonder no more! Psychologist Dr. Denee Jordan is headed to the stage to offer a unique window into her mind and lead you on an amazing journey of healing and self-discovery.

The one-woman play, I am Already Well, bares Dr. Jordan's unvarnished truth by portraying a myriad of her own psychological characters. Dr. Jordan shares a remarkably intimate journey towards the discovery that, despite and because of the conflicting voices in her head, she was and is already well. You will meet 'Roger the Rager', 'Verna Eterna' and several other poignant characters as Dr. Jordan reveals the inner workings of her psyche and how powerful it can be to make friends with the parts of ourselves we often avoid facing. I am Already Well is funny, heartbreaking and, best of all, affirming and uplifting.

Dr. Jordan is the founder of the Already Well program, a progressive approach to treatment that teaches the value of embracing and accepting ourselves exactly as we are, right this minute, as a way of liberating and empowering ourselves to make meaningful, successful changes.

Dr. Jordan is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist. Over her 26 years of practice she has worked with an extraordinarily varied population, including people diagnosed with Schizophrenia, addictions, eating disorders, anxiety and personality disorders. Her clients have included all walks of life; celebrities, the homeless, artists, and people of all ethnicities and socio economic backgrounds. Today she serves as the Director of Mental Health Services for the Exceptional Children's Foundation, which is contracted by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, the largest mental health department in the United States, directly operating more than 80 programs and contracting over 700 providers.
A frequent expert source for numerous national radio and magazine outlets, Dr. Jordan is also a sought after inspirational speaker and former professional ballet dancer.
