Over the weekend, Bakersfield Community Theatre of Oildale, California was broken into and robbed- the fourth time since 2014. After sending a plea to the community for help securing the area, the theatre is again locked up, but with some significant damage done.

They write on the theatre's offcial Facebook page: "The theatre has been broken into again - both box office and main theatre. The sound board, light board, computer, and big speakers are gone, everything is ripped open and thrown about. Please pray for our little theatre!"

Bakersfield Community Theatre is California's oldest continuous community theatre, having produced shows during The Great Depression, World War I and World War II. The historic theatre is currectly celebrating its 88th Season. Since even earlier than 1927, Bakersfield Community Theatre has brought quality live stage productions, without fail.
