After two successful runs on the Big Island of Hawaii, A Night at the Stork Club moves to Hollywood's Three Clubs for a limited run January 7-8, 2017. The original production featured critically acclaimed vocalists Justin John Moniz and Ashley Lambert, alongside New York City jazz pianist, Phil Kadet. A Night at the Stork Club's upcoming remount will feature the addition of Los Angeles based singer/actress, Laura Michelle Hughes, fresh off the North American Tour of Mamma Mia!, where her portrayal of "Tanya" received acclaim in theaters across the country.

A Night at the Stork Club celebrates one of New York City's most iconic landmarks of all time, featuring music made famous by Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, among others. The program also features favorites from the Great American Songbook, including works by Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and Richard Rodgers.

During its years of operation, the Stork Club was visited by many political, social, and celebrity figures. It counted among its guests the Kennedy and Roosevelt families, and The Duke and Duchess of Windsor. The news of Grace Kelly's engagement to Prince Rainier of Monaco broke while the couple was visiting the Stork Club. Socialite Evalyn Walsh McLean, owner of the Hope Diamond, once lost the gem under a Stork Club table during an evening visit. It was at the Stork Club, where Ernest Hemingway was able to cash his $100,000 check for the film rights of For Whom the Bell Tolls, in order to settle his bill.

Originally presented by the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, both the production's 2015 & 2016 runs earned high praise and set box office records, quickly sparking plans for the piece's west coast debut. "The response in Hawaii was overwhelming," says Ashley Lambert. "The show pays great homage to both New York City's iconic landmark and some of the greatest hits of our Great American Songbook. We are thrilled to be partnering with The Three Clubs to remount this exciting production in Los Angeles, which will feature New York Holiday Bar's Mixologist extraordinaire, Michael J. Neff, and a curated menu of light fare inspired by the original Stork Club cuisine."

Justin John Moniz will make his way to Hollywood amidst an exciting season of performances in New York, Arizona, Ohio, Florida, Missouri, Maryland, California, and Hawaii. Most recently, Moniz's star turn as Prince Karl Franz in The Student Prince with Opera Grand Rapids received high praise and great acclaim, the press hailing his performance as "simply outstanding...glorious" (Encore Michigan). His performance was also nominated by BroadwayWorld for Best Actor in A Musical. As the winner of the 2015 American Prize in Voice - Chicago Musical Theatre Award, Moniz recently made his solo debut at Chicago Symphony Center. He has performed over 60 roles on both operatic and musical theatre stages across the country. During the 2014/15 season, Moniz starred alongside Tituss Burgess (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) in DreamCatcher Theatre's production of Sondheim's Into the Woods at the Adrienne Arsht Center. In addition, he has previously made appearances with Sarasota Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre, Opera Company of Middlebury, Palm Beach Dramaworks, Orchestra Miami, Orchestra of Northern New York, and Gulfshore Opera, among others.

Ashley Lambert's voice can be heard on The Help, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, American Hustle, Trainwreck, Insurgent, The Interview, Divergent, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, to name a few. A native of Santa Barbara, CA, she holds a BFA from New York University through the Atlantic Theater Company under David Mament and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Lambert is currently a partner and voice actress with Hoffmannbrow Voice Casting in Los Angeles, and lends her voice to a range of projects from pixies in the Disney animated Tinkerbell Series to monsters featured in Hotel Transylvania. On the stage, she has been previously seen as Cathy in The Last Five Years, Helena in All's Well That Ends Well, Natasha in The Three Sisters, Valentine in Two Gentlemen of Verona, and Maria in West Side Story.

Laura Hughes is a Los Angeles based actress, singer, and comedic songwriter. She is fresh off the North American Tour of Mamma Mia!, where her portrayal of "Tanya" received acclaim in theaters across the country. She's currently recording an album of original music comedy, and has sung backing vocals for Grammy Award-winning band Bastille on The Ellen Degeneres Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Hughes holds a BFA in Theater from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts/Atlantic Theater Company. On television, she can currently be seen in the upcoming season of National Geographic's Breakthrough, opposite Ed Begley Jr., and in commercials for Pizza Hut.

Phil Kadet is a pianist in high demand. Based in New York City, he regularly appears in several popular nightclubs. Kadet recently concluded a two-season residency in Paris, and has served as the music director for All Hands on Deck, a touring big-band musical. In addition, Phil has served as music director and collaborative pianist for the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. He is a music producer and engineer, writing and collaborating in the fields of synth-pop, hip-hop and electronic dance music for many artists, but especially with his group, Exotik Robotz.
