The Gateway Performing Arts Center of Suffolk County is thrilled to announce its 2016 Season! Producing Broadway-caliber musicals starring professional actors, The Gateway kicks off its new season on Wednesday May 18 with five dazzling Broadway hits: Anything Goes, Million Dollar Quartet, Ain't Misbehavin', Priscilla Queen of Desert, and The Rocky Horror Show. Tickets start at $59 and go on sale to the public on Tuesday, March 22 at 10am. Full Season Subscription Membership is only available now through March 21 and includes tickets to all five Main Stage shows and exclusive membership perks. In addition to Main Stage shows, The Gateway will welcome back the team that brought you Ballroom with a Twist in their new high octane stage hit, Dance to the Movies - a Special Event featuring ballroom professionals from ABC TV's Dancing with the Stars (Chelsie Hightower, Lacey Schwimmer, and Jonathan Roberts), as well as Fox TV's American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance. The Gateway presents this dance extravaganza at Patchogue Theatre from August 12 - August 16. More stars to be announced including possible movie stars and/or recording artists!

Back by popular demand, The Gateway also welcomes the return of The World's Greatest Live Tribute Show, Legends in Concert - a Special Event featuring Vegas-style tribute acts: David Bowie, Abba, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Adele and Whitney Houston. The Gateway presents this live, musical spectacular at The Gateway Playhouse in Bellport on November 16 - 27.

This year's Children's Theatre Series includes two shows produced by The Gateway's renowned School for the Performing Arts: Disney's My Son Pinocchio Jr.: Geppetto's Musical Tale, July 8 - July 16 at The Gateway Playhouse, and The Wizard of Oz, July 22 - August 6 at Patchogue Theatre. Then on Friday, August 12, The Gateway presents The Amazing Max at Patchogue Theatre. Fresh off its off-Broadway run, this breathtaking show for children stars magician and illusionist Max Darwin.

The Gateway's wildly popular 6th Annual Gala is slated for Saturday, August 20. This evening of dining and dancing includes a fabulous cocktail hour, a sumptuous dinner, exciting auction items, and a phenomenal live band. Celebrating live theatre and community outreach, guests will also be treated to a sample of the final Main Stage production, The Rocky Horror Show.

Starring Broadway leading lady Andrea McArdle as Reno Sweeney and Emmy Award-winner Sally Struthers as Evangeline Harcourt, Anything Goes is a Tony Award-winning musical that takes you on a captivating voyage aboard the S.S. American. Set to classic songs by Cole Porter including, "You're the Top," "Blow, Gabriel, Blow," "It's De-Lovely," and, of course, "Anything Goes," this classic musical includes hilarity and hijinks, mistaken identities, love triangles, scandal, and more!

Andrea McArdle made her Broadway debut as the title role in Annie and has appeared in the National Touring Company's production of Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, Starlight Express, Meet Me In St. Louis, and The Wizard of Oz.This will be her debut at The Gateway.

Sally Struthers returns in her third appearance on The Gateway stage after appearing in 2012's 9 to 5 and 2015's Nice work if You Can Get It. Sally is known for her role as Gloria Stivic on All in the Family, for which she won two Emmy awards, and as Babette on Gilmore Girls.
