Last night (Friday, Dec. 4) in commemoration of the 59th anniversary of the legendary night that inspired the smash-hit musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the Las Vegas company celebrated with a MDQ-themed cake presentation. Following a high-powered performance for the crowded Showroom, the cast was presented with a special cake designed by Las Vegas' beloved bakery, Showboy BakeShop. The cake, designed to replicate the Sun Records studio, featured the members of the quartet in a creative and fun '50s-style creation.

Since its debut at Harrah's Las Vegas in 2013, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET has received critical acclaim for being "Grade A...Just plain cool" (Las Vegas Review-Journal) and "exciting and explosive" (Vegas DeLuxe), delighting audiences with the extraordinary true story of the legendary night that brought Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins together at Sun Records Studio. Embraced by the Las Vegas community and fans nationwide, the cast of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET continues to welcome repeat show-goers of all ages into the Harrah's Showroom nightly as well as invite local Las Vegas entertainers to sit-in with the band for one-night-only encore performances onstage.
