JERSEY BOYS cast members made a special delivery to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas on Thursday, September 2 bringing nearly 3,000 pairs of shoes which were collected during the very successful "Walk Like a Man" shoe drive in honor of their 1,000th show on August 28. The cast presented the shoes and spent time meeting the children of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas. In addition to the shoe donation, the Jersey Boys producers donated 1,000 pairs of socks to accompany to the shoes.

Fans were asked to bring a pair of children's shoes to The JERSEY BOYS Theatre at the Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino in exchange for a complimentary ticket to the 1000th show at 6:30 p.m. on August 28. The original goal was to collect 1,000 pairs of children's shoes but close to 3,000 fans came down to show their support for this great cause-some as early as 4:30 a.m. When the drive began at noon, fans were lined up throughout the property to donate shoes and in exchange, see one of the best shows in town. The original 1,000 tickets were gone by the first hour but thanks to the Jersey Boys producers everyone who brought a pair of shoes received a ticket to an upcoming performance.

The musical phenomenon JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, celebrated its first anniversary at The Palazzo Las Vegas on May 3, 2009 and has been named the number one show on The Strip by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and the Las Vegas Weekly. A unique presentation of live music and drama, JERSEY BOYS is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty. The show features such hits as "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You," "Oh, What a Night" and many more. JERSEY BOYS performs at The Palazzo Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 7 p.m.; Tuesday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. and dark on Wednesday.
