Tony Kirby comes from right, proper stock. While Alice Sycamore, from a flock of very odd ducks. When they announce their engagement and that Tony's conservative parents are coming to dinner, Alice’s family agrees to act “normal” but when the prospective in-laws show up on the wrong night…all bets are off!! Snakes, illegal fireworks, and impulsive wrestling are just a few of the Sycamore's eccentric surprises that await the Kirby's.  A Pulitzer Prize Winner and one of the most successful plays of all time, "You Can't Take It With You" is a truth-filled, light-hearted helping of 1930's Americana that celebrates non-conformity and reminds us to do what we want in life before it's too late. Critics have called it "superior fooling," "thoroughly amusing," & "winningly tender."
