The Playgroup, LLC is proud to present its second season at the Willow Theatre at Sugar Sand Park in Boca Raton, starting with SURFING THE RUBICON, directed by Brian Reeves.
A dinner party in an effort to impress a wealthy socialite takes quite an unexpected turn when a surprise guest shows up. Six performances will take place on November 11 through November 20, 2016; Friday and Saturday at 8PM, Sunday at 2PM. Rated PG-13. Tickets: $25, groups of 4 or more are $15 each. Synopsis of the play
Mitch's old friend, Biggs, shows up at a bad time. It is the day of a dinner party at which Mitch and his wife, Ginny, hope to secure an investment from a wealthy Palm Beach socialite. To make matters worse, Mitch has to keep Biggs out of Ginny's sight until after the party because Ginny hates Biggs. It seems she has never forgiven him for ruining her wedding.

About the Playwright
Todd Caster, playwright, is co-founder of Theatre Arts Group in New York's Hudson Valley and The Palm Beach PlayMakers in Delray Beach, Florida. His most notable works produced by The Playgroup LLC include Broken Angels and Little Piggies. He has had over 30 short plays produced by a myriad of regional and national theaters and has had two monologues published by Meriwether Publishing and are included in Audition Monologues for Young Women and The Theatre Audition Book 2. Todd lives in West Palm Beach, Florida with his wife, Mary Ellen.
