Who Wants Cake? is thrilled to announce the return of their wacky awards show with a holiday twist. The Holly Mollies are Who Wants Cake?'s own awards ceremony celebrating the best performances and events at The Ringwald Theatre over the past year. The event, which will also serve as a fundraiser to help Who Wants Cake? raise money to supplement their 2011 season, will be followed by a special performance of the Who Wants Cake? holiday favorite The SantaLand Diaries & Season's Greetings.

The Holly Mollies will represent the offbeat persona of Who Wants Cake? with such categories as Cutest Couple, Best Hallmark Moment, Best Kiss, and Biggiest OMG Moment.

This year's awards ceremony will be hosted by Who Wants Cake? and Go Comedy! favorite Suzan M. Jacokes.

"Last year, the Mollies were an incredible way for us to be able to honor the folks who work so hard to make sure that what we do is successful," said artistic director Joe Bailey. "At the same time, it was also a nice way for us to raise some funds to ensure that we are able to continue doing what it is we do. This year we thought, 'What's better than a Christmas party?' and the answer was: a Christmas party/awards show/David Sedaris extravaganza."

The Holly Mollies will be held at 6pm on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at The Ringwald Theatre, 22742 Woodward Avenue, Ferndale, MI, 48220. Doors will open at 5:30pm and the awards will be followed by a performance of The SantaLand Diaries & Season's Greetings at 7pm. Ticket cost is a suggested $20 donation which includes appetizers and price of admission to The Holly Mollies and The SantaLand Diaries & Season's Greetings. For reservations for The Holly Mollies event call 248-545-5545 or reserve online at www.WhoWantsCakeTheatre.com.
