Study after study has shown that giggling is good for the soul and your health. Now we know something more: sharing giggles with a loved one keeps the romantic feelings strong, according to a study published in the journal Personal Relationships.

Prepare for a celebration of love from the theater that adores improvisation. Armando: A Show For Lovers is the Bovine Metropolis Theater's loving tribute to Valentine's Day. Friday, February 10th, Saturday, February 11th and Tuesday, February 14th, Bovine Metropolis Theater will interview couples live and on stage to create a commemoration of relationships and that wonderful emotion that makes it all possible.

For the past 8 years Bovine Metropolis Theater has performed a tribute to love. Couples in different stages of their love lives, will be brought on stage, and interviewed. A group of talented improvisers will bring all the joys and hilarity of their relationships to life on stage through improvisation.

"My favorite part about Armando is that we talk to real life couples about their lives and their stories are what fuels the improv for the night," said Artistic Director, Eric Farone. "You'll listen to couples talk about their love stories and then watch improvised scenes created in the moment by the improvisors. There is an authentic connection to what these couples are talking about. You will see elements of your own relationship explored on stage."

The Armando is a form of improvisation, created by Armando Diaz, an improvisation instructor from Chicago. This improv format starts by hearing the beautiful stories and monologues of our couples-in-love. The cast will create improvised scenes, music and poetry inspired by the the story-telling.

The Armando, like other improvisation forms, is great at bringing people together. The couples in attendance will no doubt feel closer by the end of the show. It is a great at reminding us why we're together and re-visit that magic that starts relationships.

"Armando: A Show for Lovers" has four performances over three nights showing on Friday, February 10th at 7 p.m., Saturday, February 11th at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and Tuesday February 14th at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 online. Each couple will receive a rose and chocolates. Bovine Metropolis Theater is located at 1527 Champa Street in the heart of the Denver Theatre District.

Established in 1996, Bovine Metropolis Theater is the first dedicated school and theater for improvisation in the Rocky Mountain region. The Bovine uses improvisation to create exceptional ensembles for life, business and the stage.
