Americana Music & Art Festival Brings Acclaimed Musical Talent to Florence This August

Indie rock band Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside - http://sallieford.com/site - will headline at the Americana Music & Art Festival in Florence, Colorado, Aug. 23-25. The festival is attracting some of the top musical talent on the Americana, Indie-Rock, Folk, and Bluegrass scene, with other artists such as The Greencards, You Me & Apollo, and The Flumps performing during the entertainment and art exhibition event, which brings together musicians and visual artists, and raises thousands of dollars for regional charities. The first Americana Music & Art Festival showcased 28 bands and 20 visual artists while raising $5,000 for regional charities. 2013 plans project substantial growth in attendance and production values as well as relocation to a more "crowd friendly" shade tree outdoor environment in Florence, Colorado's Pioneer Park. The Americana Music and Art Festival will feature a vast array of musical genres including renowned Folk, Blues, Bluegrass, and Indie performers from around the United States.
