THE OREGON TAIL BURLESQUE: YOU HAVE DIED OF SEXY is the latest offering from Gorilla Tango Burlesque and a retro film noir send-up of the classic educational video game from the 1970s. The original game, developed by Don Rawitsch, Bill Heinemann, and Paul Dillenberger and produced by the Minnesota Educational Computing Consortium, was designed to teach school children about the realities of 19th century pioneer life on the Oregon Trail. A staple of schools since, Oregon Trail featured such "typical" pioneering hardships as getting oxen stolen, starvation, and tragic drowning, as well as the now infamous death announcement: "You Have Died of Dysentery." Gorilla Tango Burlesque's version, however throws sexy ladies and a Film Noir murder mystery into the mix, to make this the most INTERESTING trek West ever!

For this show, we've incorporated a blend of classic music with a twist of 80 fitness rock. MORE ABOUT OREGON TAIL CREATIVE CREW:Sabrina Harper (Director) is currently Director of Audience Services at The Second City Theatre Chicago. She was born and raised in New Orleans and is a graduate of Pine Manor College in Boston. Sabrina started her career as a stand-up comedian and finished the Directing Program at The Second City Theatre, Chicago in July 2009. She founded and co-owned The Improv Inferno in Ann Arbor, Michigan and spent two amazing years producing, directing, performing and programming shows there. Directing credits include "PEEEVED" (IL), "Stacey & Who" (NY), "SNR-Saturday Night RE-Written" (NY), "The Ladies Show", "Dick & Jane" (MI) "The Second City National Touring company 2012" (IL), "Swallow Your Pride" (GayCo), "Adorable Disasters" (GayCo), "Pre-FAME" (IL) and the recent smash hit musical "Sweetie Maude", which she also co-wrote and produced. Improv and stage credits include "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe?" (MA), "Trigger Finger", "Tippi-Portrait of a Virgin" (IL), "Late Night Ritalin" (NY), and "The Damnation Game" (MI). Sabrina has assistant directed "The Vortex" and "Nightclubbing" with The Innocent Theater Co. in New York as well as The Second City e.t.c's "Sky's the Limit (Weather Permitting)" and is a Director for The Second City Communications in Chicago.

Zatanna Zor-Elle (Choreographer) has been performing at Gorilla Tango as a burlesque dancer for more than two years. Credits include: Spock in "Boobs of Kahn: A Star Trek Burlesque" (coming back in April 2014!); Rita Repulsa in "Hooter Rangers", Princess Peach in "Boobs and Goombas: A Super Mario Burlesque", and as well as several of their themed cabarets. She began her formal dance training more than 20 years ago and received her bachelor's degree from Millikin University where she studied opera and political science. Zatanna may currently be found performing as Leia and Obi Wan Kenobi in "A Nude Hope: A Star Wars Burlesque", The Imperial Officer in "The Empire Brings Sexy Back: A Star Wars Burlesque Sequel" and Willie in "Temple of Boobs: An Indiana Jones Burlesque".
