The finale of Season 15 of the popular and acclaimed series Broadway by the Year will be June 22 at 8 P.M. at Town Hall and feature tunes from every year during the last quarter century of Broadway [from 1991]. Broadway by the Year creator/writer/host, Scott Siegel, says, "This particular edition of Broadway by the Year will feature a great many stars who originated the songs they will be singing from the shows in which they starred, including Tony winner Randy Graff (A Class Act); Tony Nominee Cheryl Freeman (The Civil War), Tony Nominee Sahr Ngaujah (Fela!), Lisa Howard (It Shoulda Been You), and Special Guest Star, Tony Danza (Honeymoon in Vegas)." Siegel further explained that the concert will also feature award-winning stars who performed in the shows they will be singing from, including Grammy-winning country legend Larry Gatlin (Broadway, The Will Rogers Follies), Kyle Scatliffe (Olivier Nominee for The Scottsboro Boys), Quentin Earl Darrington (Ragtime).

And that's not all; other high-flying stars in this concert include Denise Spann Morgan & The "Marvelous" Marvelettes, Josh Grisetti (It Shoulda Been You), Christina Bianco who is a YouTube Sensation with more than 20 million views, Sarah J. McMahon (The Pirates of Penzance), award-winning vocalist Klea Blackhurst (The Nutty Professor), Camille Saviola (Nine), two-time Nightlife Award winner Scott Coulter, Kenita Miller(Working), Jeffry Denman (Yank!), Brian Charles Rooney (The Three-Penny Opera), Jeannette Bayardelle (The Color Purple), Natalie Toro (A Tale of Two Cities), Jenn Gambatese (Tarzan), Gay Marshall (Jacques Brel is Alive and Living in NY), Maxine Linehan ("Beautiful Songs"), Song & Dance Man Jimmy Sutherland, and - as always - The Broadway by the Year Chorus. You can, as is always the case, expect more surprise guests and some unplugged moments.

In this edition of Broadway by the Year on June 22, along with the Broadway original numbers mentioned above, the audience can expect to hear songs from shows including The Full Monty, Big, Avenue Q, Mary Poppins, The Light in the Piazza, Beautiful, and many more. Then there is Siegel's insightful and entertaining commentary as he introduces 25 songs from 25 shows performed by 25 stars!

Overseeing the eclectic song choices is arranger/pianist/musical director Ross Patterson and his Little Big Band. The director of this concert, who is also performing, is Siegel protege Scott Coulter, who has since become a constantly working director in the nightclub & concert worlds even as he continues to perform.

Tickets may be purchased at the Town Hall box office - 123 West 43rd Street - between noon and 6 PM every day but Sunday. Tickets are also available 24/7 at Ticketmaster: (800) 982-2787.
