This Sunday, June 1, 54 Below launches "Tête-à-Tête with Jim Brochu & Friends," the new series in which Broadway's legendary songwriters sit down with Drama Desk Award-winner Jim Brochu (Zero Hour, Character Man, The Big Voice: God or Merman) to discuss their life's work. This Sunday, Brochu will sit down with Tony and Pulitzer Prize winner Sheldon Harnick, the legendary lyricist and librettist who created iconic musicals including Fiddler on the Roof, She Loves Me, Fiorello and The Apple Tree. Tony nominee Anita Gillette (Chapter Two, Brighton Beach Memoirs, They're Playing Our Song) and MAC Award winner Steve Ross will take to the stage to perform some of Harnick's most beloved songs.

Sunday's event with Harnick launches the new 54 Below series, which returns August 3 when Brochu will sit down with Academy Award winning songwriter Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Godspell, Pocahontas).

"Tête-à-Tête with Jim Brochu & Friends," featuring Sheldon Harnick and performances by Anita Gillette and Steve Ross is at 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) this Sunday, June 1 at 7PM.
