Shaunice Alexander Joins 'WOMEN OF THE WINGS' at Feinstein's/54 Below

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Women of the Wings: A Celebration of Female Musical Theatre Writers on August 4th at 9:30pm.

Shaunice Alexander, who has just joined the lineup, is a singer, actor, dancer and native New Yorker who was most recently the Sarah / Sarah's Friend cover in Park Playhouse's production of production of Ragtime.

Favorite past credits include Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors, Vanessa in In The Heights, Celia in As You Like It and Fanny in the world premiere of From the Fire composed by Tony-nominated Elizabeth Swados.

She is a graduate of the theatre program at The New School University and has since gone on to perform regionally as well as teach dance and choreograph in public schools in the Manhattan / Westchester area. Women of the Wings celebrates female musical theatre writers of today! It's an evening of new work and classic favorites. You'll hear songs that make you laugh, songs that make you cry, and songs that make you think differently about the world around you.

The evening will feature selections from Rebekah M. Allen, Sukari Jones, Lisa Kron, Kailey Marshall, Sandra Okuboyejo, Zoe Sarnak, Jeanine Tesori, Georgia Stitt, Alex Rubin, Rachel Griffin, and more!
