Singer/songwriter Jeremy Schonfeld returns to Joe's Pub bringing his hybrid brand of rock/theatrical piano man storytelling for one night only – February 6 at 7:30pm. Joining him are Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening), Adam Kantor (Rent) and Morgan James (Godspell). Tickets are $20 at www.joespub.com.

The evening celebrates his just-released new concept album Iron & Coal an autobiographical rock theatrical song cycle that's an intimate musical journey through the Holocaust's lingering emotional wounds on a survivor and his son.

Iron & Coal is available on Amazon, iTunes and at www.jeremyschonfeld.com.

The evening will also include songs from his previously released albums 37 Notebooks, Blue Skies and All and Drift, from as well as previously unreleased originals and songs from forthcoming projects.

Joining Schonfeld onstage are his all-star band (from Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark) featuring John Clancy (drums), Richard Hammond (bass), Matt Beck (guitars, keyboard), and Ben Butler (guitar).

Schonfeld is the first American composer-in-residence with Broadway in South Africa and is currently there conducting their January workshops while preparing his Joe's Pub concert.

When not composing or performing, Jeremy is active in helping young people achieve their goals in theatre through The Broadway Dreams Foundation-a premier performing arts training program. He proudly serves on the advisory board, is the musical director, a featured performer and teacher for the BDF; and wrote the foundation's theme song.

Schonfeld has contributed original music for numerous benefit concerts including Defying Inequality, Broadway in South Africa, The Pink Campaign on Broadway, and Broadway for a New America, among others. He has been the featured composer for Monday Night, New Voices and Cutting Edge Composers II. Jeremy's "Song for New Orleans," performed by Adam Pascal, is currently being used as part of a recruitment video for the American Red Cross.

Jeremy's show performances are also very impressive. Recent performances include Madison Square Garden, Birdland, Joe's Pub, BB Kings, The Public Theatre, Symphony Space, and Lincoln Center, the Upright Cabaret in Los Angeles, 14th Street Playhouse in Atlanta and Boston University's "BU on Broadway" series. He's also a regularly featured performer on the Rock and Roll concert series "Rockers on Broadway."
