Currently starring as Frankie Valli in the award-winning hit musical Jersey Boys, Broadway star Jarrod Spector will launch The Oak Room's all new Monday Night Supper Club Series at The Plaza Hotel on Monday, November 29th. Upscale, uptown, and upbeat after more than 900 Broadway performances, Spector is taking audiences on the Off-Broadway ride of his life in Minor Fall, Major Lift as he guides the audience through his life's story, expressed in the patois of his art form: song.

And the setting couldn't be any more perfect. The Oak Room at The Plaza Hotel first opened in 1907 as a men's only bar, and quickly established itself as the stomping grounds for New York's most prestigious residents as well as the city's finest guests from around the world. Since reopening in 2008 The Oak Room's interior, originally designed by Henry Hardenbergh, has been restored to all of its former grandeur while still retaining its original furnishings, including the famous Shinn Murals located in the bar. As one of New York's most celebrated haunts, The Oak Room continues to draw celebrities and other notable names nightly - including Sarah Jessica Parker, Rihanna, Ashton Kutcher, Nicholas Cage and even superstar diva Lady Gaga who dropped by recently to play a few songs.

With the all-new Monday Night Supper Club Series, The Oak Room is channeling the excitement of the city's legendary supper clubs, inspired by the classic glamour of old New York. Start your evening off at 8 pm with supper compliments of The Oak Room's celebrated Executive Chef Eric Hara. His sumptuous three-course tasting menu, featuring some of Hara's finest dishes, such as Warm Duck Confit Salad, Braised Short Rib and Seared Black Bass is sure to get your taste buds revving.

Following the meal, sit back and enjoy Jarrod Spector's New York solo debut at 9:30pm. Spector will tell his story of a kid from Philadelphia and his tumultuous relationship with music. The program is directed by Eric Michael Gillett, while music is directed by Adam Ben-David. Minor Fall, Major Lift will be held every Monday beginning November 29th, and will run through December 13th.

Tickets to The Oak Room's Monday Night Supper Club at The Plaza Hotel are available by reservation only. Admittance is $95 per person and includes a three-course dinner (tax and gratuity are not included) and the show. For reservations please call The Oak Room at 212.758.7777.
