Trevor McQueen Withdraws from Tomorrow's OUTCASTS LIKE US Concert at 54 Below
Popular up and coming writers Tim Realbuto and Matthew Martin (creators of the Broadway-bound musical Ghostlight) will be doing their second concert at 54 Below, following their hugely successful concert last month. This encore presentation is entitled Outcasts Like Us: More Songs by Martin and Realbuto and will benefit the charity STOMP Out Bullying. This brand new show will feature songs from Ghostlight, well-known covers, as well as songs from their new musical, which they have yet to announce.
Martin and Realbuto will co-host the event as well as sing. As previously announced, Special guests include Tony Award nominee Jennifer Laura Thompson (Nice Work If You Can Get It; Urinetown), Drama Desk Award winner Mandy Gonzalez (Wicked; In The Heights), Jenna Leigh Green ("Sabrina the Teenage Witch"; bare: a pop opera), Drama Desk nominee Claybourne Elder (Bonnie & Clyde; "The Carrie Diaries"), Jeanna de Waal (Kinky Boots; Carrie) Alli Mauzey (Cry-Baby; Wicked), Christina Sajous (Green Day's American Idiot; the upcoming Holler If Ya Hear Me), Kimberly Faye Greenberg (One Night With Fanny Brice; Danny and Sylvia), and Abigail Ludrof (Ghostlight). Previously announced Trevor McQueen had to pull out early this morning due to a family emergency. Claybourne Elder will now sing his originally scheduled song, as well as McQueen's song.
