A special, one-night only fundraiser will be presented on Saturday, August 21 at 8pm at the Broad Brook Opera House, 107 Main Street, Broad Brook, CT. "HEART BEHIND THESE HANDS" is an original, Cabaret-style show that weaves a story about love and money through musical numbers from Broadway shows such as Brooklyn, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, A Chorus Line, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Chicago, Mamma Mia!, and many others. All tickets are $20 and will benefit the Opera House Players, a non-profit community theater group that presents at least four major Broadway-style musicals each year. Tickets are available by calling the box office at 860-292-6068 or can be purchased online at www.operahouseplayers.org.

The Opera House Players' 2010-2011 season begins in September with the Connecticut premiere of BARE: A POP OPERA, SWEENEY TODD, THE WEDDING SINGER, and RAGTIME. The historic Broad Brook Opera House is an intimate venue with seating for 170 where patrons enjoy air-conditioned comfort, a new professional sound system and floor lighting, and a wide variety of concessions.
