Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) is the host and creator of BROADWAY SESSIONS at THE MIDTOWN THEATRE at the HA! Comedy Club TC l4 " (163 West 46th Street / Between 6th & 7th Avenues) every Thursday night at 11:00pm. Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week, and features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke (The Addams Family) on piano. In addition after the show we open the microphone up to anyone who wants to sing. Open mic from 12:00-2am.

This THURSDAY, June 23rd, 2011 the weekly show (now in it's 3rd year) will welcome Coleen Sexton, Jessica Benini, Lindsay Morgan and more.

Coleen Sexton is perhaps best known for her run as Lucy in the Broadway company of Jekyll and Hyde. Sexton can be seen playing opposite David Hasselhoff in the HBO broadcast of the show and the subsequent DVD release. Coleen was a standby for and performed the role of Elphaba in the national touring production of Wicked and has toured with Chicago. Sexton ost recently starred as Brooke in the national company of Legally Blonde. Sexton is currently a member of The Broadway Dolls.

The evening will also feature performances by Canadian based singer/songwriter Jessica Benini and vocalist Lindsay Morgan.

Audience members will have the opportunity to win tickets to Broadway Sings Tori: A Benefit for RAINN, which will take place this coming Monday evening at New World Stages. Hosts Colleen Harris and Ben Cameron will be on hand to perform a segment from the star studded concert event.
Open Mic party goes til 2 am.
