As first reported on Deadline.com, actor and singer Michael Arden will be joining the cast of Charlie Sheen's upcoming FX comedy series ANGER MANAGEMENT.

The series focuses on Sheen's character, Charlie, a former baseball player who suffers from anger management issues and must seek the aid of an unconventional therapist. Arden will portray the role of 'Patrick', one of the members of Charlie's therapy group. He will join previously announced cast members Selma Blair, Shawnee Smith and Noureen DeWulf.

Arden made his Broadway debut as Tom Sawyer in the 2003 Roundabout/Deaf West revival of "Big River." He has also appeared off-Broadway in "Bare: a Pop Opera," "Harold and Maude," "It's Only Life: The Songs of John Bucchino" and "Swimming in the Shallows." Michael returned to Broadway in the Twyla Tharp and Bob Dylan musical "The Times They Are A-Changin'."

As a composer, he has worked with As You Like It and Easter Rising. In the summer of 2007, Michael was one of four Broadway performers who joined Barbra Streisand on her first European concert tour. His film credits include 'Bride Wars' opposite Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.
