There's a lot of buzz about the newest hot-spot in the Meatpacking District, Holden & Astor. This stylish, yet totally comfortable restaurant has an incredibly inviting bar. We name it our "Bar of the Week."

Holden & Astor has an inspired beverage program and extraordinary service. This spot works perfectly for after work drinks, friendly get-togethers, date night or when shopping in the area. Stop by after you stroll the High Line or during weekend brunch hours.

Enter the stylish dining space where the bar takes center stage. Renowned mixologist, Sam Ziar has created a drink menu that you won't find anywhere else. There is an impressive menu of cocktails (all $16) like the "Lure" with vodka, lemon, lavender, coconut water and fruit rouges. The "Troy" has mescal, lustau east India, pineapple and lime and the "Wembly Stadium" is a rose tinted drink with Pink Peppercorn gin, crème de peche, Peychaud's bitters lemon and orange. There is also fine selection of spirits and wines by the glass and bottle.

Holden & Astor has just the right vibe, subtle, yet warm and welcoming. With your drinks, be sure to indulge in a small plate or one of their entrees. The original menu selections by Executive Chef, Carmen DiGiovanni are delectable. Try their Tuna Tartare ($17), Montauk Pearl Oysters ($18), Mac & Cheese ($28), Chicken Duo ($26) or a snack of Modern Fries ($19). Late nights are perfect for an aperitif and a dessert like their Peaches and Cream with brown sugar ice cream.

Relax and enjoy your visit to Holden & Astor. We are sure you will return again and again.
