Comix At Foxwoods Presents “Axis of Evil” Comedy Tour Star, Maz Jobrani, 4/17-19

Comix At Foxwoods will host comedy star Maz Jobrani for a four show lineup beginningThursday, Apr. 17. Jobrani will take the stage at 8 p.m. each night, before wrapping up his stay with a double-header onSaturday, Apr. 19, featuring a special "Nasty"-themed 10:30 p.m. performance.

Tickets are currently available and can be purchased in advance for $28 ($38 day of) and $56 ($66 day of). Tickets include a two drink minimum. These shows are 21+ and for mature audiences only.

Jobrani is a true comic's comic, performing all over the country with his unique and original brand of hilarity. A founding member of The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour, which aired on Comedy Central in 2007, he has also had two Showtime comedy specials, I Come In Peace and Brown and Friendly.

When he's not on stage, Jobrani is no stranger to the big screen, starring in such films as "Friday After Next," "13 Going on 30," and "The Interpreter." He was a regular on ABC's Knights of Prosperity and FOX's Life on a Stick, recurred on ABC's Better Off Ted, and has guest starred on Curb Your Enthusiasm, 24, ER, NYPD Blue, Men at Work, and most recently, the hit sitcom,Whitney. He also continues to perform stand-up comedy around the world, including the Middle East where he performed in front of the King of Jordan.

In addition to his television and standup roles, Jobrani has been featured on NPR, CNN, The BBC and in print in The New York Times, Time Magazine and Newsweek. He is a regular panelist on NPRs "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" and co-hosts a popular podcast about fatherhood called "Minivan Men." Jobrani has also performed his standup all over the late night circuit, includingThe Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and Lopez Tonight, and is currently gearing up to star in "Jimmy Westwood: Amerikan Hero," a feature film, which he co-wrote.
