Las Vegas Philharmonic 2015-16 Single Tickets Go on Sale Next Week

The Las Vegas Philharmonic will start selling individual concert tickets to its 2015 - 2016 season starting Monday, June 15, 2015 through The Smith Center Box Office. The orchestra has been selling 10-concert and 5-concert Series subscriptions as well as 3-concert Spotlight Series packages since March 26, 2015. Subscriptions will remain on sale until the first two performances this fall. The new Tuesday night Spotlight Series will not be available for single ticket purchase but will continue to be sold as a 3-concert package.

The 2015 - 2016 concert season, which begins on Saturday, September 12, will include 15 performances in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center with the addition of five weekend matinees, marking the first time the orchestra has performed its programs over two days. The program will feature symphonic works by Beethoven, Brahms, Gershwin, Mozart, Rachmaninoff and Sibelius plus music by acclaimed American composers Mason Bates, Philip Glass, D. J. Sparr and Dan Visconti.

The concerts will also showcase the following guest soloists: Andrew Armstrong (piano), Martina Filjak (piano), Oliver Herbert (cello), Alexi Kenney (violin) and Andrew Tyson (piano). The season will conclude on June 4 with a special performance featuring acclaimed Broadway star Alexandra Silber.

The expanded season will include three performances of the orchestra's popular holiday program on December 5 and 6. In addition to featuring the Las Vegas Master Singers, this year's concerts include a special screening of the film The Snowman based on the popular children's book with the orchestra performing the score live on stage.

Outside of the classical music realm, popular ensemble Pink Martini will make its Reynolds Hall debut with a concert on February 6 featuring the Las Vegas Philharmonic performing with the band.

The Las Vegas Philharmonic offers shuttle buses to The Smith Center from Summerlin (Starbright Theatre, 2215 Thomas Ryan Blvd) and Henderson (Anthem Center at Independence Center 2460 Hampton Road.) Bus passes must be purchased in advance and can be obtained when purchasing concert tickets, or by calling The Smith Center Patron Services at 702.749.2000. Each bus pass costs $15 roundtrip per concert.

Single ticket prices are $26, $46, $66 & $96 with the exception of the Pink Martini concert on February 6, 2016 which sells for $100, $150, $200, and $250 per ticket. Concert tickets are sold through The Smith Center Box Office, phone 702.749.2000 or online at lvphil.org.
