Say hello to the cast of Cupcake Lady's Hazelwood Jr High!

Eve Kummer-Landau (Shanda) is an actor born and bred in Brooklyn. Her favorite roles played include many 12-year-olds: Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods, Berdine in Psycho Beach Party, and Iphigenia in a workshop at Powerhouse. She has also played a number of over-70-year-olds including Alta in The Language Archive and Mrs. Gottlieb in Dead Man's Cellphone. In the same year. 12 to 70 IN THE SAME YEAR. Playing a role her actual age is on her bucket list. She recently graduated from Oberlin College with a degree in Theater and Music. Hobbies include Swing and Blues dancing and needle felting.

Bear Spiegel (Amanda) is currently studying at Marymount Manhattan College getting their BA in theatre with a minor and Gender & Sexuality Studies. They've performed in various musicals with Theatre 360 in Los Angeles. Bear's New York work includes a reading of "In Her Name" at 13th Street Repertory and "The Y2K Play" at the Jewel Box and the Tank. Bear is so excited to be part of this incredible show and thanks their entire support system.

Patricia Yeazell (Melinda) is originally from St. Petersburg FL. She graduated from the University of Tampa as a Theatre and Communication double major. She has recently been seen in And Then There Were None as Vera, Lourdes in Lourdes of the Flies, and Moth in Love's Labours Lost. Patricia would like to thank Eve Stephens for always covering her shifts during shows. PatriciaYeazell.com

Kristin Dawn-Dumas (Laurie) is a cat lover, actor, writer, astrology-enthusiast extraordinaire, and is absolutely thrilled to be part of the cast of Hazelwood. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Kristin woke up one day and realized that acting was way more fun than being a ditch digger. If she had to give one piece of advice to those reading this bio, it'd be, "Don't let others' opinions of you stop you from world domination, honestly, truly."

Marielle Young (Toni) is from Queens. She enjoys brunching (yeah, whatever) and freestyle nail art-ing. She is excited that this production benefits LGBT youth in particular, and is grateful for all that you can donate. Here is a picture of her with some plants in her room that used to be alive.

Sofie Zamchick (Hope), a recent graduate of NYU Tisch's "Experimental Theatre Wing," is thrilled to be playing "Hope" in Hazelwood Jr. High! In her spare time, Sofie can be found playing a marimba that's twice her size, singing "the phone, the phone is ringing" as a 5-year old guinea pig on The Wonder Pets! and keeping it clean on Kidz Bop CD's. Sneak peek: you'll hear her sing a few lines in HJH... this time in a much darker context. She's excited to work alongside 5 petite (but fierce!) women on this shocking and illuminating play!
