The production opens on Saturday night, September 7, 2013, 8pm curtain, preview performances are September 5 and 6, and the pay-what-you-want sneak peek, "Director's Rough Cut", is Wednesday, September 4. The show features veteran of stage and screen and Co-Artistic Director of Out of Hand Theatre, Adam Fristoe; and Atlanta favorite and founding member of The Weird Sisters Theatre Project, Veronika Duerr. Subscriptions and tickets are on sale now, at the box office (404-607-7469) or online at www.actors-express.com. Subscriptions are available as low as $65, preview tickets are $15, and single tickets start at $26; student and senior discounts available. Actor's Express is located at 887 W. Marietta Street, Suite J-107, Atlanta, Georgia 30318.

David Ives' deliciously sexy comedy explodes on the Actor's Express stage dripping with erotic, kinky fun. Vanda is a talented young actress who, despite arriving late for her audition, is determined to land the lead in a play based on a classic erotic novel. Her emotionally charged audition for the play's director becomes an electrifying game of cat and mouse in this steamy study of sex and power.

"Venus in Fur is a high impact experience. The twists and turns are delicious and it is so sexy," says Artistic Director, Freddie Ashley. "Following the success of Equus last season, I knew that director David Crowe was the right person to bring this play off the page. I believe AE audiences are in for a real treat."

Veronika Duerr is a founding member of The Weird Sisters Theatre Project. The last time Veronika appeared on the Actor's Express stage, she played the title character in Gina Gionfriddo's Becky Shaw.

Adam Fristoe was last seen at Actor's Express in The Last Sunday in June, The Long Christmas Ride Home and, before that, in Spain. Adam is the Co-Artistic Director of Out of Hand Theater, featured in American Theatre Magazine as "one of 12 most innovative companies in America that you need to know." Adam is best known for his recurring roles on MTV's Teen Wolf and Sundance's Rectify.b

Tickets start at $26 and are available online at www.actors-express.com or by calling the box office at 404-607-SHOW (7496). Senior and student discounts are available. Tickets for preview performances start at $15 and are on sale now, as well.
