If you wish to forgo the long lines at the airport and leave behind frantic Black Friday shopping, Fox Theatre suggest you cap off your Thanksgiving festivities with family and friends by being serenaded by holiday melodies, thrilled by a retelling of a classic story, and of course, remember that no one can "put Baby in a corner." Guests will enjoy a diverse showcase and be amazed by surreal Cirque magic.

The Fox Theatre will be presenting the following shows the week of Thanksgiving:

CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE: Broadway director Neil Goldberg re-imagines the holiday season with over 300 costumes, 20 acts and 30 performers from 12 countries showcasing an endless variety of imaginative, heart-pounding and gravity- defying feats you have to see to believe. Experience gingerbread men flipping mid air, toy soldiers marching on thin wires along with snowmen, icemen and penguins, balancing, jumping and spinning in disbelief. The show celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with singers, choreography and exciting production numbers. Shows are at the Fox Theatre on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $45-$65, plus applicable fees, and are available online at www.FoxTheatre.org, by phone at (855) 285-8499, or visiting the Fox theatre Ticket Office.

DIRTY DANCING - THE CLASSIC STORY ON STAGE: It's the summer of 1963, and 17-year-old Frances 'Baby' Houseman is on vacation in New York's Catskill Mountains with her older sister and parents. Mesmerized by the racy dance moves and pounding rhythms she discovers in the resort's staff quarters, Baby can't wait to be part of the scene, especially when she catches sight of Johnny Castle, the resort's sexy dance instructor. Passions ignite and Baby's life changes forever when she is thrown in to the deep end as Johnny's leading lady, both on-stage and off. An unprecedented live experience, exploding with heart-pounding music played live by an eight piece onstage band, passionate romance and sensational dancing. Seen by millions across the globe, this timeless love story features the hit songs "Hungry Eyes," "Hey Baby," "Do You Love Me?" and the heart-stopping "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life." Shows are at the Cobb Energy Centre on Friday, Nov. 25 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 27 at 1 p.m. Tickets are $42-$82, plus applicable fees, and are available at the Cobb Energy Centre Box Office, by visiting Ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-735-3000.
