Landmark Midtown Cinema Offers Advance Screening of MIDNIGHT'S CHILDREN; Discussions With Screenwriter, 2/27

An advance screening of the 2012 film "Midnight's Children" will be shown at 7 p.m. Wed. Feb. 27, at Landmark Midtown Cinema, followed by a talkback with screenwriter Salman Rushdie, director Deepa Mehta and producer David Hamilton. The screening is free, but requires email registration at MidnightsChildrenATL@gmail.com. Attendees should arrive early to ensure they get a seat.

Rushdie adapted the screenplay from hisBooker Prize winning novel and provides a voiceover for the film. "Midnight's Children," which had its worldwide premiere at the Toronto Film Festival last September, will come to area Atlanta theaters in May. It is distributed by Paladin Film.
