Capitol City Opera, the only opera company in the Southeast that champions local singers and produces opera accessible to everyone, will be holding its annual fundraiser, On the Light Side, on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Church of the Atonement in Sandy Springs.

On the Light Side features singers presenting lighter fare in a casual, festive atmosphere. This year's theme is "Around the World in Music," and features selections from musicals set in countries around the world, such as South Pacific, The Sound of Music, Cabaret, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma, and The Mikado. Music will begin at 8:00 p.m.

Attendees are invited to bring their own "Indoor Picnic" dinners, including adult libations, and experience beautiful music in the air-conditioned indoors. The event will also feature a silent auction, raffles and door prizes.

Individual tickets are $35; tables of 10 are $350. Tickets are available online at CCITYOPERA.org.
