Last night's Grammy Award ceremony was one for the record books. With stunning performances by the music industry elite, one could not help but notice a few soon to be familiar faces. Early in the show, R&B superstar John Legend took the stage to perform his beautiful solo piano ballad, "All of Me," which he wrote for his wife, Chrissy Teigen. John Legend will perform at the Van Wezel on April 27, 2014.

The second Van Wezel performer to grace the stage was the one and only Merle Haggard. Merle took the stage with Blake Shelton to join Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson in a medley of classic country that was irresistibly fun loving. Performing his smash hit "Okie from Muskogee," Merle harkened back to his formative contribution to the Bakersfield Sound. Mr. Haggard will perform at the Van Wezel on January 29, 2014.

The last of this season's performers to appear at the 2014 Grammy Awards was Lang Lang. Taking the stage to offer a stunning prelude before joining forces with Metallica to reimagine their heavy metal classic, "One," which was the song they performed at the Grammy's 25 years ago. Playing beautiful neo-classical runs over top the ethereal guitar, Lang Lang brought an intensely expressive flavor to the song that captures the struggles of being an injured wartime soldier. Lang Lang will perform at the Van Wezel on February 26, 2014.

Jay Leno also made an appearance last night, not at the Grammy's, but on 60 Minutes where he took Steve Kroft to his hometown to give a glimpse of the late night comic's upbringing and his storied career with The Tonight Show - both times! Jay also noted that his next stop after The Tonight Show is Florida where he will be performing at the Van Wezel on February 7, 2014, which is also the night of the Van Wezel Foundation's Gala.
