Capital Stage continues its 2012-13 "Season of Power Plays" with the Sacramento premiere of Katori Hall's THE MOUNTAINTOP - a surrealistic fantasy about a chance encounter between DR. Martin Luther King, Jr. and a mysterious hotel maid who brings him a cup of coffee and prompts him to confront his life, his past, his legacy and the future of his people. THE MOUNTAINTOP runs from March 20th through April 21st with a press opening on March 23rd.

Performances for THE MOUNTAINTOP will begin with three previews on Wednesday, March 20th at 7pm and Thursday & Friday March 21st & 22nd at 8pm. The production will open on Saturday, March 23rd at 8pm. Performances continue for five-weeks through April 21st. Showtimes will be Wednesdays at 7pm, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. General tickets range from $24-$35. Discount tickets are available as follows: Preview Tickets are $18; Student Rush Tickets are half-priced; Senior Sunday Matinee Tickets are $28; and Group Rates are available for parties of 12 or more.
