TVNZ reports that Cheryl Crow may be at work on a Broadway score for a stage adaptaton of the film, Diner. The songstress recently contributed a strip-tease number to the New York stage show. Revealing few details, Crow remarked: "A friend of mine has asked me to write the music for the Broadway musical version of the film 'Diner...' There's a scene where these three women do a striptease and I came up with the music for it. It's so good I could strip to it. And I'm 48."

it is perhaps only a matter of time before the Grammy-winning singer/songwriter is represented on the Great White Way, having been preceeded by contemporaries such as Elton John, Bon Jovi's David Bryan, and Bono with the upcoming Spider-Man.

Crow's long list of accomplishments includes performing with the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, Luciano Pavarotti, John Mellencamp, Kid Rock, Michelle Branch and Sting among others. She has appeared on backing vocals for Tina Turner and Don Henley. Crow has released seven studio albums, two compilations, and a live album, as well as contributing many songs to film soundtracks. She has sold 16 million albums in United States and 35 million albums worldwide and her newest album, 100 Miles from Memphis, was released on July 20, 2010. Crow has won nine Grammy Awards in her career. Recently she appeared on NBC's 30 Rock and ABC's Cougar Town.
