STAGE TUBE: Fan-Made HAMILTON Storyboard Re-Imagines Burr and Hamilton's Duel

Aspiring storyboard artist and HAMILTON superfan Megan Lloyd recently made a storyboard for a film version of "The World Was Wide Enough," the final duel song from the show. The viral video has already reached Lin-Manuel Miranda, and the HAMILTON star/creator has tweeted his approval, "Let's get this gal in front of a crowd!" Watch the whole thing below!

Lloyd writes, "This year, as in many years past, my goal is to land a storyboarding job. Follow my progress as I level up my skills! I'll post work here, my instagram @thirdchildart and tumblr.com/thirdchildart."

As for details on the video, she included the following notes:

1. The frosty setting is more symbolic than historically accurate--Hamilton and Burr dueled in July.

2. My goal was to finish the boards in a week. It took five days! My speed is improving.

3. When there is a Hamilton movie, it shouldn't look anything like this. Just wanted to stretch my imagination a little.The best presentation for this monologue is one actor under a spotlight in a dark theater. @Lin_Manuel @leslieodomjr hope you don't mind the creative liberties. Your performances on the soundtrack are outstanding!

The new musical Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winning composerLin-Manuel Miranda, who also plays the title role. The musical is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. Hamilton is inspired by Ron Chernow's biography "AlexanderHamilton."
