BroadwayWorld has confirmed that CHAPLIN star Rob McClure will return to Paper Mill Playhouse this Fall in Jason Robert Brown's Honeymoon in Vegas. The new musical will open September 26 and run through October 27, 2013 at the New Jersey theatre. A Paper Mill representative told BroadwayWorld: "We are thrilled to have Rob McClure back at Paper Mill. He went to our conservatory and did everything from working the box office to winning our Rising Star Award. It's great to see him come full circle."

Paper Mill Playhouse will open its 2013-2014 season with a world- premiere musical heading for Broadway, Honeymoon in Vegas, based on the Castle Rock Entertainment motion picture of the same title. Honeymoon in Vegas features music and lyrics by Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown and a book by Andrew Bergman (director and screenwriter of the film). Gary Griffin (The Color Purple) will direct. This this insanely funny musical tells the tale of Jack Singer, a guy with an extraordinary fear of marriage, who finally overcomes his phobia and goes to Las Vegas to wed his long-time girlfriend Betsy. Honeymoon in Vegas will star television, screen and stage icon Tony Danza as 'Tommy Kormana', a widowed and unscrupulous gambler looking for another shot at love.

McClure originated the title role in Chaplin on Broadway. Most recently in New York, Rob received raves for another title role, leading the cast of Where's Charley? at Encores. A two-time Barrymore Award winner, Rob starred on Broadway as Princeton/Rod in the Tony Award winning musical Avenue Q. He made his Broadway debut in the 2002 Broadway revival of I'm Not Rappaport alongside Judd Hirsch and Ben Vereen. Other selected credits include Avenue Q (1st National Tour, Helen Hayes Nomination), Amadeus (Mozart, Walnut Street Theatre), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour, The MUNY), The Game's Afoot (World-Premiere by Ken Ludwig, Cleveland Playhouse), The Producers (Carmen Ghia, Walnut Street Theatre), The Flea and the Professor (World-Premiere, Arden Theatre.) and Johnny Baseball (World-Premiere American Repertory Theater).
