On Sunday, June 28, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was thrilled to present Tony Yazbeck, the Tony-nominated star of this season's On The Town revival. Yazbeck stormed the historic stage in The Floor Above Me, a thrilling evening of tenor melodies and tenacious tap dancing, and was joined by On The Town co-star Clyde Alves and tap dance sensation Melinda Sullivan ("So You Think You Can Dance," "Glee"). Musical direction and arrangements were by Jerome Korman, and the evening was co-written and co-directed by Howard Emanuel & Tony Yazbeck, and featured Jerome Korman on piano, Thomas Hubbard on bass, Tony Lewis on drums, and Mark McGowan on trumpet.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series takes place every week at Birdland, which is located in the heart of Manhattan's theater district. Please visitwww.BirdlandJazz.com.
