The Midtown International Theatre Festival will serve as the next venue in the rise of Grey is the New Black, a group of people of a certain age returning to the theatre. Their current piece: Grey is the New Black -- There's Nothing So Temporary as a Permanent Job - is a musical comedy utilizing standard tunes with a script that is biographical ... to anyone who's ever had a day job!

Written and directed by Jay Michaels and Mary Elizabeth Micari, the group features singer/comedian Dave Richards along with Christine Conway and international performer Emmy Pai. Celebrated pianist Dan Furman backs up the group. The performance will be Saturday night, July 23 at 9:30 as part of the MITF on the main stage of the Workshop, 312 West 36th Street, NYC.
