The Suncoast Credit Union Gasparilla International Film Festival awarded Patrick Wilson (Aquaman, The Conjuring, Phantom of the Opera) the Career Achievement Award at the 11th Annual Gasparilla International Film Festival in Tampa, Florida.

Patrick Joseph Wilson was raised in St. Petersburg, Florida and has gone on to be a true "Hollywood Success Story" with multiple Tony, Golden Globe, and Emmy nominations for his work. His parents are well known in the community, his mom Mary Kathryn (Burton) and John Franklin Wilson. Patrick Wilson continues to give back to the community by performing benefit concerts with his brothers Mark and Paul. The band, Van Wilson, is an off-the-cuff rock band featuring Paul On vocals, Patrick on drums and vocals and Mark on guitar.

GIFF appreciates that, despite his success in Hollywood, he remains connected to his home town and is passionate about supporting the community where he was raised.
In addition of his parents and siblings, Patrick was joined by his wife Dagmara and his children Kassian and Kalin.
