Parson's Nose Theater (PNT), the acclaimed classical comedic theater company, is pleased to present a "radio style" reading of Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize winning classic, Our Town.

The City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division, along with partner Side Street Projects, is the proud recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts "Our Town" award. Pasadena's project: My Pasadena will create a continuous series of events and changing artworks from September 2015 - September 2016, transforming the Civic Center area into a creative, vibrant public forum, expanding community awareness of and relevance to the contemporary role of government.

Parson's Nose Theater's cast of Thornton Wilder's Our Town will feature members of the Pasadena community along with Parson's Nose Players.

"We're extremely grateful to be a part of this project, focusing on the universality of the "small town America" roots we share," says PNT Artistic Director Lance Davis, "Values never better expressed than in this Thornton Wilder masterpiece. The Parson's Nose Company will join several Pasadena students and teachers to celebrate our town on an intimate, folksy "summer night". Just bring your imagination. We'll bring the lemonade."

The reading is FREE to the public and will take place in the Pasadena City Hall Rotunda on Saturday, July 9th at 7pm. Light refreshments will be served.
