Little Fish Theatre today announced the opening of the next show of its fourteenth season, Frank McGuinness' captivating and Tony Award nominated drama, SOMEONE WHO'll WATCH OVER ME.

In a small windowless room three very different men awake and find themselves chained to a wall, hostages in war torn Lebanon. In this bleak and hopeless environment an Englishman (Michael) an Irishman (Edward) and an American (Adam) struggle to stave off the insanity and hopelessness brought on by their captivity and their unseen captors; as well as their tensions and personal differences with each other. Through all of this they use humor and sometimes painful honesty to stay human in the face of their uncertain end.

The strong-willed and emotionally raw Edward is played by Joshua Thomas, the sensitive and sometimes insecure Michael is played by Ben Hensley and between them is Adam played by Doug Mattingly (Bus Stop) who is their stabilizing force but is deeply wounded himself.

"In the face of a dehumanizing and uncertain situation how can men stay afloat? With humor? Stubborn anger? Denial?" asks director Tito Ortiz. "That's what these men struggle through in this show. The exploration of humanity and the deep love these men feel for each other despite how they express themselves from moment to moment, that is what makes this show so riveting and so full of heart."

SOMEONE WHO'll WATCH OVER ME will open Thursday, August 13th and run Thursdays at 8pm through September 3rd. Wednesday performances are scheduled for 8pm on August 2th and September 2nd. Two Sunday matinees are scheduled for 2pm on August 16 th and September 3rd. After the Sunday August 16th performance the creative team will be available for 10 to 15 minutes for post-show discussion with the audience.
