Theresa Caputo of TLC's "Long Island Medium" will engage audience members with psychic readings and also share experiences about her life at "Theresa Caputo Live: The Experience" at the Orleans Arena on Oct. 5.

The New York Times best-selling author realized she had a tremendous gift at four years old. However, Caputo was not able to communicate with souls in Heaven until her mid-20s. Upon accepting her spiritual gift, she decided to impact lives through healing messages and by sharing it with others.

Caputo's novel "There's More to Life Than This" debuted at #2 on the New York Times best-seller's list. Her subsequent novel, "You Can't Make This Stuff Up" also appeared on The New York Times best-seller's list.

TLC's "Long Island Medium" debuted in September 2011 and takes place in Caputo's hometown of Hicksville, N.Y. The show, now in its seventh season, follows Caputo as she meets with clients, and performs impromptu private and group readings around the country.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available from $39.75, plus tax and fees, and can be purchased by calling the Orleans Arena Box Office at 702.284.7777, or by visiting www.orleansarena.com.
