Musical Theatre Factory (MTF) will host their monthly Factory Salon, an informal new works open mic night, on Thursday, November 6th, from 8pm to Midnight. Musical Theatre Writers are invited to showcase new songs, and singers are invited to perform songs by new writers.

Featured artists include composer/lyricist Justin Levine (BONFIRE NIGHT, Music Director for BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON, MURDER BALLAD), who will be presenting new material from HALFWAY HOME, an upcoming Twelfth Night adaptation commissioned by Manhattan Theatre Club with playwright/book-writer Adam Bock; Composer Rona Siddiqui, will be sharing songs from ONE GOOD DAY (book and lyrics by Liz Suggs), winner of the 2014 ASCAP Mary Rodgers/Lorenz Hart award, with guest performers Phoebe Strole (SPRING AWAKENING), Blake Whyte (WICKED, MAMA MIA) and Chris McFarland; and Tidtaya Sinutoke (music) and Ty Defoe (book/lyrics) will be presenting songs from the new musical CLOUDS ARE PILLOWS FOR THE MOON, recently workshopped at Yale Institute for Musical Theatre, with guests performers Krystina Alabado (AMERICAN IDIOT), Meghan McGeary, and Cartreze Tucker.
