Jimmy Ferraro's STUDIO THEATRE to Stage LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS This Fall

Jimmy Ferraro's STUDIO THEATRE, 5732 Main Street, New Port Richey, FL -- opens the 2nd year MAIN SEASON with Neil Simon's hilarious comedy LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS, running September 25th thru October 18th, 2015. Opening Night is Friday, September 25th at 7:30pm and the production runs weekend through October 18th.

Middle-aged and married, overworked and overweight, Barney Cashman wants to join the sexual revolution before it's too late and arranges three seductions to hilarious results.

The production is directed by Jimmy Ferraro. Set and Lighting Design by Keith Snyder. Production Stage Manager, Tracie Callahan. Costumes by Anthony James.

Performances run Friday and Saturday evening - doors open at 7:00 pm / show at 7:30 pm. Sunday matinee - doors open at 1:30 pm / show at 2:00 PM. Tickets $28.00 (tax included). Call 727-409-0293.

ABOUT THE CAST:

Greg Thompson (Barney Cashman) - Greg Thompson most recently appeared in The Funny Thing is, I Still Love this Place (Stageworks) He is very pleased to be reprising Barney, stumbling his way love, for the second time this year! In the past year or so Greg has appeared in Sunshine City (Palladium Theater), Tampaworks (Stageworks), Betrayal (Tampa Rep), Last of the Red Hot Lovers (Stageworks), Bethany (TR2), Bones (Silver Meteor Gallery), Southern Exposures (HCC, Ybor), Hamlet (New Stage), Inventing Van Gogh (Jobsite), and Cat on A Hot Tin Roof (Tampa Rep). He also directed, and originated the role of Matthew, in East Lansing, winner of the full length play competition at the 2014 Tampa Theatre Festival. Other theatre credits include writing and directing An Evangelist Drowns, and adapting and directing productions of Richard III, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest and Much Ado About Nothing.

Elizabeth Bell (Elaine Navazio) - Elizabeth is delighted to make her debut with Jimmy Ferraro's Studio Theatre! Some of Elizabeth's past favorite roles have included Clybourne Park (Bev/Kathy), The Kitchen Witches (Isobel), Stepping Out (Vera), and Rumors (Cookie). She has performed as a member of the staged reading group "Actors 2 Go" (under the direction of David Smith), and enjoyed roles in short plays by Gil Perlroth (The Experiment) and Janet Scaglioni (Play Me). Elizabeth served as the musical director for a theatre benefit, and has also worked offstage as a producer and prop manager. Elizabeth studied piano at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. She has played keyboards and sung as part of a professional duo for over 15 years. Thanks to all of you for supporting live theatre. Enjoy the show!

Sara DelBeato (Bobbi Michele) - An accomplished jazz vocalist and actress, Sara is thrilled to make her Studio Theater debut! She is an entertainer with Norwegian Cruise Lines, and most recently performed on the Pride of America cruising the Hawaiian Islands. Sara has toured the country with Arthur, Live!, based on the PBS television series; This included sold-out performances at Boston's prestigious Colonial Theater. With over 40 book musicals under her belt, favorite regional musical theatre credits include: Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, Grizabella in CATS, and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. Suzanne Ruley (Jeanette Fisher) - Suzanne, a musical theatre junkie, resides in Palm Harbor with Matt (who you may have seen here in Ain't Retirement Grand), 2 beautiful pre-teen children and 4 kitties. The whole family performs as the Ruley Family Singers... minus the cats. This is her first scripted show in 18 years and her first straight play ever, although she's no stranger to the stage or playing nonmusical roles. She's performed in And the World Goes Round, Kiss Me Kate, Student Prince, Merry Widow, Sweeney Todd (where she met Matt) and... at Jimmy Ferraro's Angel Garden Café with Matt in Red Hot Ragtime, and Nunsense with Dee Etta Rowe. Suzanne has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Goucher College, and participated in the 1998 Metropolitan Opera Vocal competition and survived. Suzanne is inspired by Bette Middler, Carol Burnette, Lucille Ball, Tracey Ulman and string cheese.
