The Duplex Cabaret Theatre plays host tonight to "Hit....or Miscast," an evening of "untyped freedom".  Produced by Empty Space Ensemble, the one night only concert will feature a re-imagining of songs spanning the musical theatre gamut.

The diverse collection of songs will be interpreted by Jeffrey Alewine, Sean Bradford, Rachel Frankenthal, Travis Jordan Greisler, Jon Hill, Liz Kimball, Marnie Schulenberg, Kaitlin Stilwell, Christine Werny, Claire Wilmoth, and Chris Yonan. Show time is 9:30 PM at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre.

This is the final concert in the Empty Space Ensemble's fall series at the Duplex.  Empty Space provides unique performance opportunities for young, emerging artists. The ensemble seeks to discover new mediums of artistic expression through the exploration of new works and the re-imagining of established material.  Future projects include the development of new theatrical works via a monthly forum for composers and playwrights.  More information is available at www.emptyspaceensemble.com

Reservations can be made www.theduplex.com or by calling (212) 255-5438. The Duplex is located at 61 Christopher St (at 7th Ave) NYC
