Haute-Trader Prepares for April Launch

iReach/ Haute-Trader, a premier website for designer-only fashion trading, began online Pre-listing January 3, 2014, in preparation for its April 5th launch.

As your style continues to evolve, so should your wardrobe. Haute-Trader provides a creative solution for the woman who, despite owning many fantastic designer pieces, feels she never has anything to wear. A survey conducted by Haute-Trader found that many women wear only 30 percent of their wardrobe. Haute-Trader will allow those women to capitalize on the latent portion of their wardrobe. Don't pay with cash, pay with those barely-out-of-the-box Blahniks! By trading your designer pieces for items of equal value instead of using consignment or resale, you'll be able to keep developing your personal aesthetic whilst maintaining the intrinsic value of your collection.

Every time you complete a trade, you'll be rewarded with Haute-Points, which can be used to acquire other items. We have devised a four-tiered system for classifying designer brands. For example: DVF is classified as Tier 1, and Chanel as Tier 4. If you trade a Tier-2 item, you'll be awarded 200 Haute-Points; and with those 200 Haute-Points, you can acquire another Tier-2 item. In essence, you'll receive an item for free, simply for choosing to conduct trades via Haute-Trader. The site accepts only pristine items from top designer labels.

Haute-Trader is aware of the possible pitfalls of person-to-person barter involving high-end items. With Haute-Trust, each member's identity is verified and every item is tracked. A reviewing system is in place, and Haute-Points provide further incentive for properly using the site. The standard trade fee is $20, inclusive of user verifications, shipping costs, and item tracking. Haute-Trader offers special protection features for Tier-4 items.

The company CEO is Hope-Noelle, a former fashion designer and stylist. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Hope-Noelle was inspired to launch Haute-Trader after trading items from her extensive wardrobe with like-minded friends, and realizing that many other women might like to do the same.

Pre-listing began on January 3rd 2014. Pre-listing allows accepted members to list their fashion pieces on the site before the site launches onApril 5th, 2014. Pre-listed members receive VIP member privileges and early access to desired inventory.
