Firehouse Staged Reading Series presents O, HANNIBAL by Kurt Brighton, running September 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22, 2013.

"O, Hannibal" is a black comedy about a hapless theater company and their attempts to put on an original (but terrible) musical lifted from a (very good) Hollywood film--perhaps you can guess which one.

Enter the Boiling Frog Theatre Company, headed by writer, director, producer, & choreographer: Anton Birdwell-Alouette. With his rag-tag company of drama queens, morons, and psycho killers, the attempt to put on an 'original' adaptation of a Hollywood classic is easier said than done. A hilarious soap opera of sex, murder, and crazy actors that will have audiences laughing like a mad man!

Written by Denver's very own Kurt Brighton, this show marks the first in Firehouse Theater Co. staged read series.

Cast: Kurt Brighton, Julie Butters, Abby Apple Boes, Brian Brooks, Andrew Hunter, Christina Longman, Fayth Krause, Mark Shonsey and Jack Wefso.

Firehouse Staged Reading Series presents "O, Hannibal", Sept 7 - 22, playing Sat./Sun.@ 2 p.m.. Tickets: $15.00. Reservations at 303-562-3232, or visit www.firehousetheatercompany.com. The production runs in the John Hand Theater at Colorado Free University, 7653 East First Place, Denver, Colo.
