Charles S. Dutton Performs at The Fortune Society's 2012 Fall Benefit Tonight, 10/29

Award-winning actor Charles S. Dutton will perform a scene from his one-man show "From Jail to Yale: Serving Time on Stage" at The Fortune Society's 2012 Annual Fall Benefit tonight, October 29th, 2012 at the Tribeca Rooftop in Manhattan. Dutton served time in prison and successfully rebuilt his life becoming an educated, professional actor, producer and director. His one man show, describes how he overcame the challenges in his past and turned around his life.

The benefit, which runs from 6pm-9pm, will include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and an awards presentation. The Honorable Judge Judith S. Kaye, Former Chief Judge of the New York Court of Appeals, will be presented the David Rothenberg Achievement Award. The Honorable Judge Kaye, who is currently Of Counsel at the international law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flomm, LLP and Affiliates, was the first woman to ever serve in New York's highest court and was a creative reformer in the Court system making groundbreaking decisions in statutory, constitutional and common law issues.

The benefit is set for tonight, October 29, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Dutton's performance begins at 7:15pm. It all takes place on the Tribeca Rooftop, 2 Debrosses Street (Between Hudson and Greenwich Streets), Manhattan.
