JD Productions presents a reading of new musical FRIENEMIES, guest staring Broadway veteran Annie Golden, tonight, October 27th at the Underground Lounge. Doors open at 8pm, show at 8:30pm.

Inspired by the "struggling" class of actors in New York City, FRIENEMIES features a book, music and lyrics by Karlan Judd, additional lyrics by Jenny Stafford and Gordon Leary . In addition to guest star Golden, the cast also includes Jennifer Jean Anderson, Nicholas Barnes, Thomas Dolan, Jake McKenna, and Matthew Tweardy-Torres.

Directed by John Forslund, FRIENEMIES tells the story of Jen, Jake, and Nick-3 actors navigating their way through the musical theatre jungle of auditions and callbacks, hoping for that one perfect opportunity. Surrounded by characters like Stewart, that actor that seems to book everything, and Mumz (Golden), the waitress at the diner who still thinks she's in the footlights, Jen, Jake, and Nick finally get cast in a show that's headed for Broadway. But after a successful reading, the producer decides to re-cast the show with "Broadway names." Furious at the news of their replacements, the gruesome threesome decides to take matters into their own hands. They'll do whatever it takes to get on a Broadway stage, even if it takes a crime to get there!

Tickets are $20 with a food drink minimum, and can be reserved by emailing reservations.frienemies@gmail.com. The Underground is located at 955 West End Avenue in Manhattan.
