Showbiz411 reports exclusively that besties Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will team up on Jason Moore's comedy THE NEST. The project, from Universal, will also be produced by the SNL alum, along with 'Game Change's Jay Roach.

The Golden Globe co-hosts would portray sisters Kate and Maura who "get kicked out of "The Nest" when their parents sell The Family home and move into a condo. They decide to throw one last blow out party, as they were once famous for just that when they did live at home. Hilarity ensues."

The last time the comic duo co-starred on the big screen was in 2004's 'Mean Girls.' Shooting is scheduled to get underway mid-June on location in New York.

Poehler was a cast member on the NBC television show Saturday Night Live (SNL) from 2001 to 2008. In 2004, she became the co-anchor of the Weekend Update sketch along with her friend and colleague Tina Fey. Poehler's work on SNL earned her two Primetime Emmy Awardnominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Since 2009, she has starred as Leslie Knope in the sitcom Parks and Recreation, and received the 2014 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Musical or Comedy Series. She is also an eight-timeEmmy Award nominee.
