MainStage Irving-Las Colinas will open its 2017-18 season with the original musical and dance spectacle RANG DE! COLOR ME INDIA! With artistic direction by the creative team of thinkIndia Foundation, the production runs September 8 through 23, 2017, at the Irving Arts Center's Dupree Theater (3333 N. MacArthur Blvd., Irving, TX 75062). All evening performances are at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. Single tickets range from $21-28 and are on sale now at the Irving Arts Center Box Office (972.252.2787/ www.irvingartscenter.com). Ticket discounts are available for seniors and students.

Audiences can explore the many facets of India through a Broadway- style production that will sweep them off their feet - from crossing the road to finding a bargain, from classical music and dance to the latest Bollywood, from roadside vendors to street entertainers, from festival celebrations to spiritual wisdom. To top it all off, patrons are invited to relish the mouthwatering fare in the lobby bazaar and feel the sights, the sounds, the traditions - the sensations that make up the kaleidoscope of India. RANG DE! COLOR ME INDIA! is a creative, colorful and interactive experience - on stage and in the lobby - as audiences get immersed, and emerge dyed in the color of India!

RANG DE! COLOR ME INDIA! features a stunning ensemble of over 40 singers, dancers and actors drawn from the community. The production is a truly collaborative effort and the first of its kind in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The production team includes talent from the thinkIndia Foundation that has created major productions such as Rangoli, Taraana, Kohinoor, Sitara, Antaraa, and Hatke, as well as talent from MainStage Irving-Las Colinas, which has presented award-winning theatre for over four decades.
