There are so many, but there's one from The Scarlet Pimpernel, that nobody sings, which is "Don't Be Afraid It's Only Love." And I don't know why more people don't sing it. It's just so beautiful.

You know what I love? "In Whatever Time We Have" from Children of Eden. I just think that is the most beautiful duet ever. It makes me cry everytime I hear it. So I love that one.

I love "Can’t Take My Eyes Off You" by The Four Seasons, which is of course in Jersey Boys. Look, I'm not saying someone has to hire an entire horn section to tell me that they love me, but it would help.

It's not really a love song, but "Anyone Can Whistle." It's just such a touching song. I don't know, everytime I hear it I just well up. It's just a moving, tender, touching song.

That's a tricky one. My favorite Broadway love song... "Losing My Mind," I think. All of his music was so beautiful.

I always get choked up on "If I Loved You" by Rodgers and Hammerstein. It's kind of a bittersweet love song, but it's one of my favorites.

“Fifty Percent” from Ballroom. It talks of loving someone outside the parameters of a normal relationship. Of loving for the joy of the moment without expectation.

"I'd Rather Be Sailing" from A New Brain. I am such a fan of William Finn, Malcom Gets, and especially Norm Lewis, whom I had the honor of working with in both Dreamgirls and Porgy and Bess. This song and their performances are simply sublime.

"Never Before, Never Again" from The Muppet Movie. Okay, not technically a Broadway song, but still- a fantastic love song from a brilliant movie musical. Also one of the most romantic sequences in film history and one of Miss Piggy's greatest performances (in a long list of great performances). If this song doesn't make you want to find a Kermit of your own, nothing will! Happy Valentine's Day, everybody!

Adam Guettel's score is filled with some of the most rapturous music I've ever heard, and "Say It Somehow" is when the two young lovers first get together. When they start harmonizing, my head practically explodes.

"Feed Me" from Little Shop of Horrors. It's a brilliant rollicking seduction/consummation between Seymour and Audrey 2, and ends in a plot to murder a masochistic medical professional. Happy Valentine's Day!

"Till There Was You" from The Music Man. Such a sweet melody and pure, simple sentiment. Plus, c'mon, The Beatles even recorded it!

My favorite Broadway love song is "All I Ask of You." Mostly because it's a song about being a stalker and somehow, in the 80's, stalking was romantic.

I'm not heavy into many musicals because my singing would make you return your money within four bars; but, I do enjoy "Run Away With Me" from The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown.

"Till There Was You." Not only are the lyrics to this song brilliant and all-encompassing, but the bridge of the song where he talks about the sweet fragrant meadows of dawn and dew is a perfect melding of melody, lyric, and movement. The way that the melody leads the chord progression to that perfect beautiful moment where he raises the fifth and hangs suspended there for a brief second is unparalleled in almost any song ever, let alone a Broadway song. I have to give it up to Mr. Wilson. Not only is he a man called Meredith, but the guy could write!

"Embraceable You." Especially when sung slowly. Listen to Nat or Billie- yummy. Love the lyrics. "You and you alone bring out the gypsy in me." Plus it has the word "naughty." And ya gotta have a little "naughty" on Valentine's Day, don't ya think?

The one that I got to sing from Spider-Man- "If the World Should End" And I love a lot of stuff from the Last Five Years, event though that is dismal love...

I choose "Our Love is Here to Stay" by George and Ira Gershwin, which was the last composition George wrote; and, the words were written by Ira after George died, making it very poignant. It was in the film An American in Paris and in the Broadway show The 1940's Radio Hour. My story with this song comes from when I was doing They're Playing Our Song and I fell in love with the sound engineer, Armand. Both of us had been married before and were wary about falling in love again. We took a break, I went to Rio, and during that absence we both realized our love is here to stay!

I don't know if it's my favorite of all time, but it is my favorite right now. I recently got to sing "Next Best Thing to Love" and I was reminded what a great love song it is. Not the typical love song. A love song for the kind of love that just misses, but is still a big love. And definitely for those of us who have been around the block a few times!

From Follies, "Losing My Mind." I have to tell you, it brings me to tears everytime I hear it. It's very emotional, it's very moving- and who among us hasn't experienced that kind of pain? And it's such a beautiful lyric and such gorgeous music.

Is "Pretty Women" from Sweeney Todd a love song?

I just love "Somewhere” from West Side Story. Classic.

I'm not sure this qualifies as a "Broadway" love song, but it's a song called "Home" written by musical theatre composer John Bucchino. I've always loved that song. So simple. Just describing how being with someone feels like "home." Makes me cry every time!

"On the Street Where You Live" from My Fair Lady, "Come Rain or Come Shine" from St. Louis Woman, and "My Funny Valentine" from Babes in Arms

It may be kind of an odd love song, but I like "Not While I'm Around" from Sweeney Todd. The very first time I heard it when I was a kid, it was just deeply stirring to me and it has remained so. No matter who's singing it.

One of my favorite traditional Broadway love songs is "It Never Was You" by Weill and Anderson. The lyrics, the accompaniment...it's beautiful music. I will never get tired of this song. One of my favorite contemporary Broadway love songs is "The Next Ten Minutes" by Jason Robert Brown. Ugghh this song makes me feel things. It makes my insides twist and turn. Seriously though, if it comes on in my headphones while I'm walking down the street you can bet on instant tears.

I love "Maria" from West Side Story. That music just sweeps you up and makes you feel like you’re flying. Thank you, Leonard Bernstein!

"If I Fell" from Beatlemania. It's nice to know that something you liked as a child is still great.
